NMG's management system guarantees access to its database so that clients can immediately check loss-related situations presented by its members/associates.
The IT system adopted interfaces with the programs used by companies in order to optimise loss-management time and allow them to view claims files still in the investigation phase.
NMG has chosen to focus on two fundamental aspects of claims management.
These aspects concern the two parties between whom a relationship is established in the event of a loss: the Insurance Company on the one hand and the policy holder on the other. If the insurance company need claims to be handled using appropriate technical skills, policy holders need a person to talk to who can provide them with all the information they needs .
Transparency is also one of the watchwords that have led NMG to specialise even further in claims management processes.
The query system means it is possible to view general information about – and the state of – each loss by simply entering the name of the insured/injured person, or the number assigned to the case by NMG.
In this way, the Client will have access to information about each claim, while the functional/area offices will have access only to the claims connected to the function or territory for which they are responsible.
In addition to viewing the information relating to a specific claim, which allows the functional/area offices to provide a service for local authorities or association members, it is also possible to directly obtain a digital file summarising all the claims positions users are authorised to access (according to their function or at national, regional, or provincial level).
It will be possible to use this file to draw up periodical statistics, or update any data bases to monitor the claims situation and the way the handling itself is being carried out.
In addition to the name of the policy holder, the information that can be accessed includes the counterparty, the case number and the date of the incident, the type of claim, the type of coverage/membership card the policy holder has, the activity being carried out when the loss occurred, the method and procedure employed in handling the case and the documentation NMG is still waiting to receive.
